You will be amused I am sure about the couple of things I learned when I lived for 5 years in LA (lower Alabama...actually the panhandle of FLA 1983 - 1987)

1. Pop - to everyone there, this is a noise, not a drink...that would be a COKE (no matter the color of the thing)

2. NEVER tell ANYONE you came from near the town where William T. Sherman was born

3. NEVER EVER tell anyone you came from near the town where William T. Sherman was born.

4. Cracker is NOT something you crumble into your soup or put a piece of cheese on

5. Chicken gizzards are NOT offal to be thrown away, but little amazing gifties to be soaked in milk, deep fried, then enjoyed somewhere where you can make little piggie noises
