Suppose, just suppose Chimpy was prez on Dec. 7, 1941
what would his response be?

Who would he have retaliated against?

My gut says Liechtenstein, but they don't have any oil.

4. Mexico's oil deposits were known in 1941. We would have invaded...
...while he cut taxes on the rich and told everyone to consume more consumer goods
and take long pleasure trips.

We would have ceded Texas back to them in the 1957 Withdrawal Agreement.

24. And we would have fought with the army we had...
not the army we wished to have.

And no draft, either, because Republicans are committed to the all-volunteer army.

We would have had the massive wartime deficits and debt, though. Guarentee that!!!

9. One thing for sure, he wouldn't have given the Day of Infamy speech the following day.
He would have stood before Congress, smirking as he read what at best would have passed as that prepared and delivered by a somewhat precocious third-grader, and Ma Bush would have been so proud.

11. We Wouldn't Have Known Until December 8th
First...it was a Sunday morning...the boy sleeps in, you wouldn't want to get him all pissy or anything. Hell, no one's gonna notice if he doesn't do a damn thing until 10.

Next, he gets evacuated on an emergency train to a secret location leaving the White House in control of Uncle John Nance Garner...err Unka Dick...who attempts to call up a nuclear strike only to be reminded the Manhattan project won't begin for another two years. He then calls to scramble the jets...and is reminded that the only jets belong to the Germans. He snorts and says to delcare war on Iraq anyway.

Meanwhile junior rides the rails all day and enjoys playing (and losing) at solitare.

23. Well, this post would look something like this

At least, west of the Mississippi. Those of us east of the Mississippi would see this:

By the Emperor, all hail the Greater German Reich!!!

Oh, and I'm sure some Bush spawn would be Colonial Chancellor of the Western Territories of the Greater German Reich.
