So, let me get this right, for months * has been beating the war
drums, trying to scare Americans into war with Iran and he's known all along that they have no intentions of obtaining, building, etc. nuclear weapons. Is that right? He apparently knew, and his criminal cohort knew also. Yet they have been so intent on their NeoCon agenda and their warmongering that it didn't matter. Mind you, I am not shocked. Disgusted...yes. Repulsed...yes. Shocked...no.

Then, a few months ago the liar in the White House either became aware that the truth of it all was going to come out or, at least, found out it was possible that it might be revealed therefore he started, um, back peddling, down playing, his rhetoric, and rewriting his theatrical performance on this subject.

Seriously? What did he know? When did he know it? Same question goes for his criminal cohort. BTW what are they hiding?

Guess Uncle Dick must be having a tantrum about now since he won't be getting the other war he is so eager for.

You know, suddenly I am reminded of Hitler who in his plan to takeover the world spread himself too thin. His resources were insufficient to accomplish what he wanted to do. Of course there were other variables which also effected his ultimate goal but in a very oversimplified way he spread himself too thin. I think Dick would spread himself too thin given half a chance.

So how did the information get out? Was it leaked? Did the military say no way? The Intelligence community spill the beans?

Very interesting.

3. I read on here last year
that there was an internal conflict in the CIA between the good and the evil.
I'd say we should put a win in the "good" column this time.

6. actually, in the CIA that would be a battle between the evil and the RELATIVELY
good. Let's not forget what evil the CIA does on even a good day.

8. Nothing’s really changed
While top Pentagon Brass have been reluctant to wage war on Iran, Uncle Dick can still get the other war he so desperately wants with a well-placed, strategically timed ”provocation”. Under those circumstances, the military would likely acquiesce.

An attack against Iran is still on the table. Don't be lulled into a false sense of security or complacency.
