Romney: "Americans don't like "believers of convenience."
Said that in his speech just a few minutes ago. I guffawed! Isn't that the best description of himself ever?

5. His father was great on civil rights and his mother backed the ERA. Mitt is shameful.
George Romney was a great force in Michigan for civil rights. Lenore Romney was a feminist and passionate backer of the Equal Rights Amendment. They were Republicans of a type that no longer exist anywhere.

I am sure they are spinning in their graves about their son's hard and convenient turn to the right.

16. He's like the chimp. Romney's dad was Gov of MI (so Romney can claim homestates in:
Michigan, Utah and Massachusetts).

3. My favorite line so far - you can't have faith without freedom and you can't have freedom without
faith.

So all you people without faith - did you know you weren't free? Well, according to Mitt, you aren't.

I have a feeling a lot of people may be surprised by this.

that line was for the mouth breathers in the audience that will say, "yeah, powerful words!" but won't actually sit down and think what it means.

mittshit, is a fuck. plain and simple.

8. Yep--that was some AWFUL pandering by McCain--to actually pretend
he's a Baptist when everyone knows he's Episcopalian. These guys HAVE to do this, or the GOP rejects them out of hand. Which is why I'm a Democrat.
