Brad Pitt is a great humanitarian!!!
His Larry King interview in New Orleans was fabulous.

Although Larry King looked 150 years old and couldn't wait to get back to comfy DC.

1. thank you for starting a thread about this
I was going to do it if there wasn't already one started.

I was very impressed with his passion about it. I've mistakenly dismissed him in the past as just another self-absorbed actor. But he's serious.

The story the woman told about her father passing away, brokenhearted because he hadn't left anything - his house in New Orleans - for his grandchildren - really got me.

They could use our help. The link is www.makeitrightnola.org. Please check it out. The "pink" think is kinda weird until you read about it: the Pink Project.

Go Brad! I pray some of the scattered families make their way home.

2. He's a good Ozarker
Its great what he's doing and not surprising. I've always liked him and felt he has stayed close to his roots. Angelina Jolie is a very lucky woman.

3. I'm sorry I missed it, was out, but the 'promos' look great.
Pitt was to the point, sincere and is engaged at the ground level it seems.

4. I posted a thread earlier but it dropped like a rock.
GD was in a meltdown at the time!

Pitt/Jolie are a high-profile couple, which should help "Make It Right" a lot! Oprah did a similar thing through the Angel Network, where you could buy individual things for the houses, like a set of dishes, and it was very successful. The houses were built in Houston for people who lost their homes in Katrina.

Brad Pitt is on Larry King again on Tuesday, 12-11.

5. People such as Brad & Angelina are (head & shoulders) far better representatives of America...
...than the gang of ideologically inbred yahoos in the White House. :puke:
