Mike Huckabee is scum. He's lower than whale shit.
I arrived at this conclusion after reading Autorank's, Jackpine Radical's and Cali's threads.

1. I agree -- wolf in sheep's clothing
and very dangerous because he appears so "harmless."

18. I started having serious suspicions about him
Edited on Wed Dec-05-07 02:43 PM by Blue_In_AK
when he announced that Don Young (PIG-AK) would be congressional chairman of his Republican presidential exploratory committee. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0207/2872.html Don Young's corruption is legendary, and he has received more campaign contributions from Arkansas than he has from Alaskans. Why, I'd like to know. We joked last year that Don must think AK stands for Arkansas rather than Alaska.

"Young, the third-ranking Republican in Congress, is no diplomat but he has deep personal connections with almost every member because he was chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, which put him in charge of massive amounts of pork.

Young said in an interview from Puerto Rico that Huckabee is “a man of character and a hell of a speaker.” Young said he’ll travel on Huckabee’s behalf. “He may be a long shot now,” Young said. “But when this settles down, people will see that a governor is best positioned to bring the country together. They have the experience of bringing the opposite sides of a legislature together. People always ask me who I think I going to win, and when I say Governor Huckabee, they say, ‘Who?’ So we just need to convince people that he’s a leader with great character.”

4. I'll have to read those threads...
I don't know anything about Huckabee, but he does appear harmless in a
"shucky darn" kind of way.

I find myself thinking--didn't the nation fall for a wolf in Jebus-sheep clothing
before?

People who pretend to be religious, but really aren't--and are wolves--are the scariest
people in society. They lack a conscience. Usually that kind of dual personality
means that there's some serious mental issues--usually sociopathic tendencies.

I'll go read those threads...

2. Oh dangerous, yes
Only because this man is a Rapture-Ready type, AND a minister

I can forgive a politician for being two faced. Hell, that's what they do BEST.

But being so out of touch with reality that you think a fetus is on par with a person...

11. I am beginning to suspect that the media built him up for a reason--
so many wonderful articles about this asshole, mostly talking about what a swell guy he was, how he plays gee-tar and likes rock music and isn't a "mean" Republican, without ever examining his serious drawbacks and flaws.

14. He plays normal, which makes him very dangerous.
He is the only Republican candidate that comes across as a normal person. (Well, maybe McCain.) I think he will be the hardest to beat.

9. He sure hates women. Probably thinks their rapes are their fault--
that's probably one of the reasons why he felt bad for Dumond, aside from the Clinton-hate. And he certainly doesn't think they should be allowed to have an abortion after a rape-caused pregnancy. He prevented a mentally-retarded girl who was raped by her father from having an abortion. How's that for "Christian"?

*'s legacy is proof of what happens when a dangerous mentally unstable religious fanatic is put in office. Exactly why separation of church and state needs to be absolute.

13. After reading the letters and the report behind his release of that Drummond
I think he is the lowest form of mankind there is. All those women, wrote him letters telling him that this guy should not be released. That he raped them, threatened them, and if he was released the next woman he raped he would kill to keep her from identifying him.

Because he wanted to make political points and because he not only hated Bill Clinton and wanted to please the religious right he released this man. This man who went on to rape AND MURDER two innocent women. And the last one was pregnant with her first child.

So can you vote for or even this this guy was human. And of course we know he was influenced by the republican who Bill Clinton beat out for the governor of Arkansas. Who went on to form a vendetta against him that included the republican me members of congress.

The should every damn one be in jail. And I would like to know if this half ass reporter on the New York Post Steve Dunleavy is still employed there. Wonder what that S.O.B. thinks of himself.

17. Could someone please explain to me why a *teachers' union* just endorsed whale shit?
I'm SERIES!!!111!!11!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071205/ap_po/on_the2008_trail_25

CONCORD, N.H. - The New Hampshire chapter of the National Education Association, the country's largest teachers union, has endorsed Hillary Rodham Clinton and Mike Huckabee for the Democratic and Republican presidential nominations respectively, sources said Wednesday.

This is the first time the 16,000-member group has endorsed a Republican candidate, despite estimates that a quarter of its members are Republicans.

The chapter's members will meet later this week to announce the Clinton endorsement. Leaders are trying to schedule another meeting to announce Huckabee's endorsement.

Maybe they could hold it at the Flat Earth Society? :P Seriously, to recap, a teachers' union has just endorsed a candidate who does not believe in science. How do New Hampshire's science teqachers feel about throwing their weight behind someone who actually belives the Earth is 6,000 years old?! :eyes:

really want war in the middle east so that they can get their stuff to happen where Jesus comes back or whatever is supposed to happen for them to be rapured up to somewhere.
