And the Iowa caucus winners will be:
Mitt Romney and John Edwards, because of their superior boots-on-the-ground organizations (in Iowa, anyway). This will surprise the shit out of the corporate media, which is still endorsing the Hillary/Obama horserace for the Dems, and is ready to anoint Hucklebutt as the Republic party nom, now that Rudy's jumped the shark and Grandpa Fred seems to be terminally disconnected from reality (the media hate Romney; go figure).

You heard it here first.

2. I think you are right about Edwards
Just saw in another post (not sure which one at the moment) that in the Iowa caucus any people who support candidates with less than 15% of the vote get to go with their second choice. Right now Edwards is polling heavily as a second choice favorite.

Could be interesting.

3. The importance of polling is generally overstated
when it comes to Iowa. The mechanics of the caucus are arcane indeed: much depends on dumbass logistics--just making sure your supporters get to the venue. Here, according to my sources (heh), Edwards and Romney have a huge advantage. It makes the race more interesting, because Iowa's a must-win for both Edwards and the Mittster.
