Poll question: In light of the recently revealed NIE on Iran, will bushco
attack that country in the next year?

1. The Truth has never stopped them before
I don't know why they'd start abiding by that now...

4. well, I haven't voted yet
but I'm beginning to think that there are forces in his own admin, that are determined that he not be allowed to bomb Iran. I think there's a difference, as well, between bushco at the beginning of his first term and at the tail end of his 2nd. A few months ago, I was sure he'd be bombing Iran. Now, I'm not as convinced that he'll do it.

7. Agreed. There may be a few who haven't been chugging the Kool-Aid
and so I really hope you're right on that.

3. No but they may attack the home front
They will do anything to prevent themselves being arrested. The good news is that they now have more enemies than friends.

5. I say 'no'. They've pushed that envelope and been pushed back.
Biden's threat of impeachment couldn't hurt either.

6. I keep thinking
of the report in Newsweek at the end of the summer, which stated that VP Cheney had favored having Israel strike targets in Iran, and having the USA step in if Iran responded to the Israeli strikes.

I suspect that there are groups within the administration that are pro- and anti- military strikes on Iran. I think it is safe to say there are similar factions in Congress.

8. Why would a little report stop these criminals?
Their agenda is to to attack, attack and attack again until the achieve Armageddon.

9. they want to avoid impeachment?
they know they blew the opportunity to do it and remain relatively unscathed. The window of opportunity is closing, and there are clearly those in the Pentagon that are against it.
