Just now watching Dubya's presser from this am - it was the question
put to him about the young Saudi girl that was when he wiped out.

It was a significant and very telling moment. He was a Dad and the reporter nailed him and he had not one good answer, there was nothing he could say, and there was no recovery for him from that moment forward.

Most hostile press corps I have ever been privileged to witness in my lifetime, (privilege? - I know I've gone off the deep end).

Now I must go back to finish watching, I hear he stalks off in the end and that this disaster just gets uglier.

Sorry for the interruption, it was just a stunning observation for me, a "texan", having lived with this f'ing family for way too many years, to see tonight.

Got to go, I hear him in the background getting angry........

I just wish everyone knew all we know about the Bush family in Texas. What did Texas ever do to deserve this level of s%^$, ?

It is just a damned shame!

Check out this book,

Born to Cheat - How Bush, Cheney, Rove and Co. Broke the Rules from the Sandlot to the White House,
by Jackson Thoreau -
it just made the Library of Congress

3. This question....

Q Thank you. Another issue -- on another issue of credibility in the Mideast, at the Annapolis summit, you used your influence to get Saudi Arabia to the table. But I wonder whether now you will use your influence to do something about the Saudi rape case that's gotten so much international attention. What goes through your mind when you hear about a 19-year-old Saudi women getting gang-raped by seven men and basically a Saudi court blames the victim and sentenced her to 200 lashes? You spoke to King Abdullah by telephone in the last couple of weeks. Did you press him on this case? If so, what did you say? And if not, are you giving him a pass?

THE PRESIDENT: My first thoughts were these: What happens if this happened to my daughter? How would I react? And I would have been -- I would have been -- I'd have been very emotional, of course. I'd have been angry at those who committed the crime, and I'd be angry at a state that didn't support the victim. And our opinions were expressed by Dana Perino from the podium and --

Q But did you press King Abdullah about it, personally?

THE PRESIDENT: I talked to King Abdullah about the Middle Eastern peace. I don't remember if that subject came up.

Q But if it's that important to you, why wouldn't you bring it -- at that level, bring it directly up to King Abdullah?

THE PRESIDENT: We'll have plenty of time. He knows our position loud and clear.

5. as they say in Maine - "a'yuh", that was the ONE!
Dubya was already on the downhill slide, it just got rapid after that one. Yepper's, boy howdy was that a big one or what?

And yes to my fellow Texan, we have lived too far long with these 'conneticut lizards' in our backyard. I want my horny toads back now!

Bless his ugly little heart. We are leaving Dallas if Dubya and his entourage come home to roost. Make no mistake about it.

Dallas can have him and so can Texas and SMU and his f'ing library filled with nothing. God help SMU. Southern Methodist University,.

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

oh yes, right, SMU was lost a long, long time ago..llllllllllllllllllllllll

4. In case you missed it...
Jeannie Moost (sp?) did a segment on CNN's Situation Room (at the end) and showed where someone had X'd out Helen Thomas so he wouldn't accidentally call on her. The rest of her segment was a hoot too.

It should be on again this a.m..

6. Yeah, I noticed that. If I were her, I'd want to frame that and hang it
in a place of prominence. If she couldn't get the actual piece of paper, a shot of that over-the-shoulder view of it from behind the podium would be great. A badge of Honor!!!

7. I agree. He showed his real self at that point. It was disgusting..
Maybe he really didn't know about it and was trying to conceal that. Otherwise he is the heartless monster we've always known him to be.
