1. Chehalis is one of the worst, but there's floods all over the state.
Some areas actually got over 10 inches of rain Sunday night alone. I don't know how much additional there was on Monday, but it was definitely coming down hard at times.

Just wish I could divert these clouds to Georgia or some other area that actually NEEDED the water.

3. My brother said the news reported some stretches of I-5 are under 10 feet
of water! -- Are you okay?

We could use some here in North Carolina, too!

8. Fortunately, I live on slightly higher ground.
Doesn't flood much here, apart from storm drains getting clogged and some minor puddles in the street.

4. The EXTREMES are what I find amazing. From extreme rain/flooding to extreme
drought. It's bizarre.

Glad you got some rain!

5. Glad I didn't have a trip planned right now. My family lives in Oregon
and I take I-5 from Seattle to Eugene. I'd be SOL.

9. Ordinarily, I would advise taking 101 down the coast.
But I've heard Aberdeen is completely cut off, so that might not work.

All night long, stranded people were rescued by helicopters that came from as far away as San Deigo! It was wild last night.

7. Wow, that is horrific, I hope people can find it to a safer place, with nightfall
approaching it could get much worse. Stay safe.
