Funny thing Rudy had a woman on the side and he is running for President
Bill Clinton supposedly has women on the side and he is not running for President yet it reflects on the race somehow.

Does that mean that people still see women as only secondary to their husbands even though they could become the most powerful person in the world?

It doesn't say much good about us if so.

1. Nothing counts against Republicans. Everything counts against Democrats--even when it's not true.

6. I do some consulting work for a couple of guys that are from Mexico
and still have business interests there. One was naturalized last summer and the other will naturalize early next year. But both just flat don't understand what the big deal is about Clinton and Giuliani. They both say, so what? So they got some on the side, and so (in the case of Giuliani) he used public money to do it. Who cares? They deserve it with all the pressure and responsibility they have.

I explained, this is NOT Mexico. Here, the fundies have control and will make things like sex a complete outrage. I also explained that regardless of the circumstances, public misappropriation of money is never acceptable. They explained to me that in Mexico, if a politician wants to take a little of the money for his self, no problem. Just don't get greedy like Lopez-Portillo. In Mexico, it is expected and acceptable to "embezzle" some money as a right of the office that is held.

I told them I agreed 100% about the sex thing, but I don't agree with them about public money. I think it is so very interesting to get someone's opinion that is (for lack of a better metaphor) on the outside looking in.

BTW, both these guys are completely independently wealthy.

money either because he bribed the politicians who helped him get wealthy. They scratch his back and he scratches theirs. You wonder why people are willing to leave that country and come here illegally? Part of it is because the wealthy take all the money for themselves.
