Did Bill Clinton spend ANY of the taxpayers' money on Monica?
Help me out here--somebody on another board is comparing Rudy's indiscretions to Bill's, and when I (while condoning neither) brought up the fact that Giuliani was spending exorbitant amounts of NYC money on his girlfriends, they said--"Well, Bill did that too..."

This is a load of crap, right?

17. "That's a filthy lie and you can't prove it!" seems an appropriate response.

4. I don't think there was any direct people's money applied the way
ghouliani apparently did, but philosophically, if he was paid for being pres, and spent money on her, then one could say he did use taxpayers' money.

12. His pay for being president belongs to him.
The time that he is paid for for being president belongs to the American people, but, considering the overtime he worked, especially compared to Bush, the time he spent on Monica was probably earned comp time. I don't think Clinton so much as took Monica to lunch. I believe that she claims he gave her a book. Don't know if that is true, and it would not have been out of the people's money.

5. OK, you're completely missing the point.

The blowjobs Rudy got from Judith Nathan were acts of

love

.

They got married after their extramarital affair, didn't they?

The blowjobs the DAWG got from Monica were nothing more than

filthy, adulterous sex.

Did Bill Clinton marry Monica like Rudy married Judith? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....

Plus, Big Dog was Governor of Arkansas, while Rudy was...and will always be...

America's Mayor©

And Monica wore those French berets...

just like the French do

...

And Big Dog smoked those cigars and included them in his indiscretions...

just like Fidel Castro...

Get it?

:sarcasm:

Edited on Sun Dec-02-07 04:24 PM by Spazito
and I bet Monica ate at least one piece! That piece of pizza MUST equate to the same cost as that of police escorts for 9/11iani's mistress, her family and friends AND her dog, right!

Edited to clarify the mistress was that of 9/11iani's just in case that clarity was needed, lol.

Edited on Sun Dec-02-07 05:10 PM by zidzi
myself. To further that discussion did JFK spend any taxpayers money on his mistresses?

My friend and I were talking at work(in the back) about ghouliani and "Sex On The City" and a volunteer popped up and said.."oh, so I'm surrounded by card carrying Dems?" I said, "Yeah, aren't you?".."No, I'm a republicon".. "After 7 years of bushit and you're still .." "I didn't say I liked him..I like his daddy bush" "He's as big a fascist as any of 'em and his granddad did business with hitler" republicon, "They're all the same" "No, they aren't..there's a notable difference. End of discussion.

rudy kinda stepped in it Big Time with his procurement of 400K for judy and the dog and NOT getting Radios for the Firemen of New York City.

Edit~ To clarify and add that the guy at work brought up JFK by saying, "don't talk to me about rudy when JFK had all these mistresses.." I stopped him right there and said, "ghouliani is a fascist and JFK cared about America's people." I wish I would have emphasized the whole "rudy's taking taxpaxpayers money and treating his mistress to chauferred rides by the police and walking the dog when I'm sure the police would have had better things to do in NYC".

rudy ghouli must have been more than a little insecure about his abiltiy to woo the Luggage Queen, miss judy.

16. This revelation about rudy is, imo, an ad waiting to be written...
A split screen with his mistress/wife holding her dog on one side and the picture of firefighters injured and killed, some due to faulty radios, on the other side with the simple question:

Where would the FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND dollars been better spent? or something along those lines.

20. I was thinking more of the firemen who are opposed to rudy being the ones able to...
put forward such an ad rather than the Dems. There was at least one article recently that stated the firemen of NY were adamantly opposed to rudy and were prepared to do ads, etc, explaining the TRUTH about 9/11 and what happened to their fellow rescuers because of rudy's lack of action.

I found this article which relates to the firemen of NY and rudy:

Firemen douse Rudy’s image as 9/11 hero
Union bid to halt White House run

snip

The firefighters were still using the antiquated “handie-talkie” radios that failed to work during the 1993 bombing of the twin towers, when Giuliani was also mayor. He not only failed to replace them, but also located the city’s new emergency command centre at the World Trade Center against the advice of key officials. It proved useless when it was most needed.

Lack of communication also meant that warnings from police helicopters about an imminent collapse failed to get through.

End of snip
