TVNewser: Insiders say no immediate decisions on the fate of Tuckers Carlson's show

http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/msnbc/saving_tucker_71944.asp

ICN has an update on the Save Tucker movement. Also, insiders tell TVNewser there won't be a decision about the show's fate anytime soon. Without anything (or anyone) to replace the 6pmET program, no move, is probably the wise move.

The most telling sign re: what MSNBC thinks of Tucker...his set.
Look at Carlson's set compared to any other show on MSNBC...he's sitting at a fucking CARD TABLE. It's comical! It's a cheesy, small, low table with a plastic color panel tacked to the side. He's one of the obnoxious kids relegated to the folding card table at family gatherings. His own producers don't take him seriously.

2. There's a "Save Tucker" "movement"?
There are outhouses filled with worthier movements.

3. I had a "Tucker movement" this morning after breakfast.
The taper looked exactly like his hair style.

movement. One less neo-con polluting the airways cannot be a bad thing.

5. Isn't his show getting low low ratings?
Why would "insiders" want to save a low rated loser show? Doesn't the market system trump all? One would almost think that the "insiders" just want conservative propagandists on the air at any cost.

6. I hope they dump (f)tucker and replace his sorry ass with David Shuster. David has
demonstrated fairness and integrity in his reporting. He deserves his own show.

8. Is Gene, Gene the dancing machine still around? How about the Unknown Comic?
Tucker should try to revive the Gong Show, but with a political twist. He could invite politicians on to give their take on an issue and then have his panel gong them. Tucker could strum a guitar like Chuck Barris did or he could dance himself from time to time.
