They did not even give us a week in Columbus to fight.
They did it over Xmas break and then pulled the plug even
earlier than they said they would in Columbus .... the ratings
have been so low they don't even register.

I was stunned last year when the progressive talk radio station ( the ONLY one) in the largest Democratic listener area (Columbus and the metro area) went righty....STUNNED

Botany, that is a good thing. AND, I can listen to Stephanie Miller instead of Lionel on AAR (he drives me insane...I just cannot listen to him)

We need a North Market or Whole Foods meetup to celebrate!

18. Great news, I used to listen to 1230 am

then it went over to the dark side. I will look for it on Dec.13th and 14th when I am in Columbus. That's where I first heard Air America and why I subscibed to XM, it's been kind of disappointing lately but maybe it will improve when they get more stations.

Hopefully they will have a much stronger signal and a much better staff. Before, there were long segments of dead air, commercials running over each other, endless pre-emptions, and of course, a puny signal.

20. Many of those "glitches" were on purpose

"They" wanted 1230 WTPG to fail. The exact same things happened to
the Station in Canton too .... dead air, 2 or 3 ads running @ the same time,
and my Fav in Columbus .... Bowling Green Football. Hell, they went so far
as to cut their coverage on election night to pick a Cleveland Cav's pre game
show.

We all knew it was a sham, but we enjoyed it while it lasted ('cept for Lionel...Malloy should have been in that slot)

But they just had to dump "it" because it would not make it.
