And I am amazed at the level of ignorance of aviation in general being displayed by the talking heads. Fortunately they have an airline pilot on now who knows how this works.

But seriously, this is news? This sort of thing happens now and then and the airplane gets some damage, but everybody walks away.

I suppose they are hoping the thing explodes. More interesting that way.

these death watches they engage in. Voyeuristic death for ratings. You know damned well that some producer is praying for an explosion in the sky so they can speculate on terraism. It's disgusting.
