Washington Journal callers have the worst phones on the planet

and most of them sound like obscene callers.. Maybe it's because they are nervous, but there's a whole lotta heavy breathing goin' on and a bunch of lousy connections..

and there never seems to be a happy medium..most of the republican callers are either bible-thumping Jesus devotees, or the "ahh teyull yooo wut" racists or the "readers"..who ramble off something they have written, and manage to convey the lack of thought, and punctuation/spelling errors in their recitation:)

Come on dems..keep working those lines.. we need some thinkers to get through every now and then :)

1. %^*(^ Time-Warner cable moved Cspan2 up to "premium digital"

And now they want more money from us. As if we need high resolution digital to watch a speech in a bookstore in suburban DC (!)

They are the same creeps who brought us CNN Glen Beck. I think it is time for an assertive letter or two!

2. We are "Dish" people.. I hated cable

4. I thought there was some kind of law that providers HAD to have

cspan1 and cspan2 available at no extra charge to subscribers. That is the only reason that all the dish and cable provders have cspan on at all. They wouldn't put the bandwidth on those kind of low traffic stations otherwise. Most people don't care about cspan, unfortunately.

3. It varies from morning to morning...

Sometimes there will be several runs of well informed callers ... but listening to most of the callers unfortunately confirms the worst: people's views and political ideologies stem directly from mainline sources which only serve to transmit "official" opinion to the masses i.e. establishment friendly opinions the elite want the public to hold, even if seemingly oppositional {naturally lacks any substance}

And of course, unless it's Greg Palast, or Gore Vidal, someone of that caliber, if a caller throws the pundit/"expert" {professional liar} a curveball, they'll simply ignore the view/question and act as though the idea has never crossed their mind.
