more abortions than incidents of cancer??? would that include spontaneous abortions? I wonder??
seems to be more abortions per second than either births or deaths??

7. t is not an abortion clock - look at the temperature rise and the species going down.
There are a lot of abortions though world wide. Anyway, birth are almost three times as much and growing faster.

8. Yeah, that was a little weird
Also, the author of the page says "although I find the theory of global warming highly debatable...." What's that about?

The clock funciton is a cool idea, but this leaves me a little suspicious of intent.

10. If you click "now" it resets numbers to 0
It got to 20 abortions about the same time it got to 60 births. Which does seem incredibly high. This is supposedly worldwide though, and I'm unsure of what goes on in some parts of the world.

i think little and big would get to around that #. maybe it counts post wars in occupations that are finally lost. i sure have been reading about a lot of em in my 1891 encyclopedia britannicas and only up to C.

"Wars" is a subset of deaths due to injury -- in this case, war is the cause of injury.
