Republicans spend 2+ hours in a Debate without any Substance

Where the questions on Health Care?

The Environment

Energy Independence

Subprime Mortgages

Only 1 Question on Chinese toys?

No questions on Nafta, Outsourcing (Paul had to rant on his own time)

No questions on the Iraq Political Impasse (just troop levels)

No Questions on the deterioration of the situation in Afghanistan

No questions on the rising cost of living for most middle class people across the board

5000 videos and they could not come up with one question on Health Care?

God, Gays and Guns as Dean said, thats all we get?

2. Up until this election, the issues you list are more important
to Democrats than Republicans.

This is how the two paries are different. Health Care is now becoming
an interest among rank and file Republicans. You know how passionately
you feel about let's asy --the war, Environmental issues. Health Care
etc.

Imigation is an issue that goes right to very core of Republicans.
Taxes is a reflex action.

To a GOPer this was just as substantive as we believe our debates are.

One way I have learned to deal with it --recognize we have two entirely
different world views.

I found the focus group interesting. They too wanted to hear about
Health Care and other issues. This tells me the GOP has some moderating
to do. Their middle class working people are showing same anxieties
as rest of Us. Who knows we may get some new Democrats over time.
