1. I think the only people believing this bullshit
Would be those who also believe pigs can fly, and camels are fluent in Arabic.

2. Huh? What speech?
I didn't watch. Sorry to say, American Idol wore me out. Anything new from the lips of the Chimp?

5. Other than Iraq, no news is good news
I'd rather have no changes than the ones we've gotten for the last 6 years! Except on Iraq.

6. My husband said it best. "This sounds like a newly-elected President... yikes!"
Not one who has been in office for SIX LONG YEARS!

7. It is incredible that he would present a tax hike as a tax cut when he
was talking about health "reform". How do the Beltway denizens keep a straight face when stuff like that gets paraded about like it is real, or makes any sense?

Putting him into office is as big a mistake by the SCUSA as the decisions supporting slavery and opposing unions. If Gore had been president on 9/11 I have no doubt bin laden and his guys would be history by now, and thousands of US citizens, and hundreds of thousands of Afghani and Iraqi people would still be alive.

What a farce.

8. ....You actually expect changes?
:wtf:

Me thinks you have your bar set a bit too high for this administration.

9. Hee hee. No, seriously.
At least the comments on MSNBC were fun. All those Dems deconstructing Bush!

But change? Nah, the only way Bush will ever change is -- well, he won't. I don't think he can.

10. Not me....
it will be all words, no action. I believe Bush is responding to the polls, something he denies doing.

12. "We need to"
I heard a lot of "We need to's".

We need to develop this, and we need to work on that.

Not the same as saying "we will", or "I'm initiating this or that".

It was a polite acknowlegement of problems, without a plan to deal with them.

13. I heard a lot of "in ten years" ...
meaning he's doing nothing for two years, and leaving it for the Democratic president to deal with during the next two terms.
