Will White House erase all hard drives before leaving office?
Should Democrats pass legislation making it illegal to destroy such records? Would it make any difference? Will Americans ever know what this Adminsitration has done in their names?

7. Even if BushCo left all evidence of crimes neatly filed on all harddrives...
The Democrats will promptly sweep everything under the rug and move on. Then the same players or underlings will return another day to rape, pillage, and do their best to destroy America.

11. Depends on who gets in 01/09...
A certain candidate's husband refused to dig into the previous WH occupants' crimes when HE first occupied the office.

Sad, but true..:(

9. Remember how they accused the Clinton staff of trashing the WH?
Edited on Sun Nov-25-07 04:35 PM by proud2Blib
They claimed they removed the W from all the keyboards and a bunch of other silly stuff.

So yes, I believe these people would do just about anything when they leave.

...(at least all the other stuff - the "trashing of the West Wing." The "w" thing WAS true - and funny, IMO...)

10. Yes, Dems should pass LOTS of laws about it.
Because we all know how this White House respects the law.

Seriously, I can't imagine that anything short of a coup would guarantee the preservation of those hard drives--and Rove probably has a wireless remote panic button, in case that actually happens.

16. If they do then they are breaking laws already on the books to stop
that kind of criminal behavior. Not that that has IN THE PAST ever stopped the Bush Admin from doing what they want.

They seem to think they are above the law in many ways. Strange for a supposed law and order society to accept, but there it is.

17. Mrs. ZBDent is now forced to keep every backup tape they make
from the VA system ... they cannot re-use, overwrite, or destroy any of the backups they make ...

but of course, Bush will be allowed to do so and the "liberal media" will ignore the felonious actions ...
