2. The Cheney Cabal's intentions were evil and oil-based, Georgie's were just stupid.

8. Evil & stupid
Anything this dirtball sets out to do is evil - anything.
Double the problem with the fact that he is so incredibly stupid and we get chaos.

9. Politically astute - at the time.
His approval ratings soared when the invasion took place and everybody felt compelled to plaster ribbons and flags all over everything in sight and believed that mighty 'murka would waltz into town and receive hugs and flowers while "spreading democracy" to the aborigines.

Then reality set in.

10. evil, but that really doesn't quite capture it. stupid remains to be seen.

Despite the fact that Iraq is a complete disaster, mostly for Iraqis and the 4,000 or so of our troops who got themselves killed and the 40,000 or so who got themselves seriously injured, it really has worked out quite well for the shitheads in the cabal. They have their permanent military base in the mesopotamian oilfields. They've looted our treasury, transferring the social security surplus revenues straiht into their pockets - a trifecta as it sabotages social security, increases their already huge pile of loot, and makes it damned difficult to fund any social programs that might actually benefit the peasants. And they have established as a fact that the United States of America will bomb torture and destroy any nation that stands in its way.

Evil doesn't quite capture it. Evil can be imagined as some external force that corrupts men and makes them do bad things. The cabal is no more possesed by evil forces than the twisted fucks who ran Germany 70 years ago were. I want a different word that precludes any possiblity of avoiding complete and total individual responsibility for what these criminals have willfully done.

edited last sentence to aid 'avoiding' so sense it makes actually.

12. I completely agree with you, but I'm having trouble with your last sentence...
"I want a different word that precludes any possiblity of complete and total individual responsibility for what these criminals have willfully done."

Do you mean something like: "...precludes any possibility of less than complete etc..."

14. avoiding. thanks.
I edited it to put the avoiding back in. Ugh. I read that at least three times, seeing what I meant, not what I wrote, each time.
