Happy Franksgiving! ( Blame a Democrat! )

Even this holiday of white people giving thanks for a land they stole and plundered isn't a happy one by the red and blue states.

It FIGURES. I saw this on the history channel, history of Thanksgiving-and well I thought Gosh in heckville, the Republicans have ALWAYS been assholes. They noted that all the Republican governors were against it, all the Democratic ones for until Roosevelt signed it into law.

I mean here was something that was for ECONOMIC, profit, business reasons- moving Thanksgiving up a week for more SHOPPING and still they were against it. Oh yes, why? Not football. Not really-because it was a Democrats idea!

I notice some still thank it's the last thursday in November. No, it's the fourth thursday-this year the 22nd.

In 1939, President Franklin D. Roosevelt moved Thanksgiving forward by one week, believing that doing so would help bolster retail sales in the midst of the Great Depression. This led to much upheaval and protest, causing some to deride the holiday as Franksgiving.


I know people like tradition. I get that. But still they are against anything-ANYTHING we do. And even throwing in Hitler to boot.
