4. Kill yourself? Dylan was always an opportunist.
He never claimed to be anything else.

3. He who fucks nuns will one day join the church
Joe Strummer wrote that lyric.

He never sold out but apparently the executors of his estate did.

9. I heard the Clash's version of 'Pressure Drop' on a car commercial
:-(

I heard that it was Mick Jones who allowed the Clash's songs to be used in advertisements.

Have you seen "Joe Strummer: The Future is Unwritten" yet? DH and I are going to see it on Thanksgiving after dinner.

7.  Well , I guess the 60's are dead
What a shame things have to always turn into shit , where money seems to be truely everything .

It is dissappointing and disheartening . What was that song , the day the music died , I guess it really , finally has .

16. The Flaming Lips didn't write the lyric "Money doesn't talk it swears"
They're a fine band but I think it's different.

Besides, they never reaped the rewards of record sales and concert revenues that Dylan got. They've made a decent living I guess but not as much as Dylan.

14. Complacent Clintonite boomers, rejoice!
You had nothing left to lose but your icons. Now at last, you're free. So go fill up that oversized car, drive two miles to the box store, and feel good about it, yo!
