FOX News Channel studio in New York infested with BEDBUGS!
Via Paddy at Cliff Schecter's blog, we learn...

Hahahahahaha!!!

TVNewser has learned that a small area of the Fox News Channel newsroom has evidence of insects believed to be bed bugs. What is not known is how the insects got into the basement-level newsroom of the News Corp. headquarters. Most likely, an employee or guest unknowingly transported the poppy seed-sized bugs on their clothing, which then made their way into the fabric or carpeting.

As my grandmother always said, "If you lay down with dogs, you get up with .......".

From comments below the post:

Latest rumor from New York's media circles: Hannity and Colmes is being renamed The Itchy and Scratchy Show.

1. And those critters are hard to get rid of!
If they use insecticide, won't it kill off folks like O'Reilly?

As Billo is more of an amphibian, it is more likely to work slowly, inducing serious illness and genetic mutations.

John Gibson and Roger Ailes, however, would be in the worst danger of immediate death as the former is a member of the blond spider species and the latter an overgrown garden slug.

11. I had bed bugs infest my dorm once in college.
They came in the loft guardrail I bought from a campus group. Took me a while of internet searching to match the bite marks to bed bugs and learn how to find them. After that, it was easy. I found them between two pieces of 2x4 on the guardrail, and in the trim of the wall and slaughtered them with Flying insect killer (I thought they were skeeter bites when I first bought it) containing Pyrethrin. I finally convinced the entomology dept and the university that I had bed bugs in the room by presenting choice 3/8 long specimens to them. I had previously been told they were extinct in the county, HA! Anyhow, they sprayed the room two weeks later when I was on break, but I was never bitten again after my genocide with the spray can.

13. NYC has had a real infestation of them lately
Bedbugs, not Fox News types

Seriously, several really nice hotels in the NYC area and quite a few of the really nice Upper East side condos/coops have had infestations too. Class has nothing to do with it. The scary part is that this could happen to any one. It's one of the reasons I really don't like to travel and stay in hotels anymore as outbreaks have occured in several states. :scared:
