2. Yup, just wish we could embed these here too.
YouTube has been dead to me since they started taking down the Colbert Report and Daily Show videos in 2006.:kick:

3. If you support the WGA...

...they are asking that we don't watch online shows while they strike, it is the same as crossing the picket line.

Do as you will, I'm just passing on the word. Peace. :hi:

6. Yeah, you get it!
When I think about the shows that I want to watch I think about those who may lose their jobs or at the very least are not making money while they stand up for their right to be compensated for their work.

We really are all connected, we are all in this together. It is heartbreaking to see the posts at you tube that disparage the WGA, either because they don't get it or they are paid trolls meant to shape public opinion against workers. I am not a member of WGA but I feel that the union busting efforts are an attack upon me and my rights.

7. D'oh!
Would you believe that never even occurred to me? What
an EEL I've been!

Thanks for passing the word- I'll be honoring the writers'
virtual picket line from here on out.

I appreciate it!

9. I hate to break it to you, but these are not scripted interviews, so I don't think they count.
And besides, until the WGA comes down here to Georgia and fights for my right to join their damn union in my "Right-to-Work" State of Georgia, they can all kiss my ass.:nopity:

Sorry, all the Writers, Directors, Cinematographers, Editors, etc. unions who don't allow the major Production companies to hire local Film Industry people like me when they come here to Georgia to shoot (they bring their Unionize crews with them from L.A.) can all kiss it as far as I'm concerned.

And if they would move to Georgia or Arizona or Central Florida, or any of the other places that went and built sound stages and studio complexes in these places that are much less expensive to work and live, but places that could only get the really low budget, non-union crap shows because of all the unions inflexibility with their work rules, they might not produce so much of the mindless crap we see on T.V. and in the Theaters now.

Sorry, No pity here for the Hollywood prima donnas.:nopity:

10. Mm'ok
I just ask that you watch this short video for more understanding.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJ55Ir2jCxk

You have more in common with those "prima donnas" then you do the people who are exploiting their work.
