take note, even if Pelosi does not! I say it's worth it, no matter what. It is the equivalent of 10,000 letters to the Judiciary Committee.

He said he tried to verify whether or not these 10,000 letters to be sent to Pelosi where she said she would put impeachment back on tha table , he has not been able to verify if Pelosi in fact even said this .

Haven't many people already sent emails and letters and placed calls for Pelosi to do this long ago and several times ? If she needs more then it does not seem to me she listened before and avoided this , and now we need to know if this is the real deal .

OpEd News posts correction on "10,000 Snail-Mails" to Pelosi for Impeachment


Rainbow Law (a lesbian advocacy group) posted a request on OpEd News yesterday, asking for "10,000 hand-written letters" to be sent to Nancy "off-the-table" Pelosi demanding action on HR333 (Kucinich's bill for Impeachment that's languishing in House Judiciary). I posted the link on DU yesterday passing the request along.

Turns out the "rumors" i.e. that Nancy had made such a request, were indeed just that, rumors and nothing more.

Here's an excerpt from the correction posted by Rainbow law today:
"Yesterday we reported on rumors that Nancy Pelosi would consider initiating impeachment proceedings against Dick Cheney if 10,000 people sent hand-written pleas to her office.

This morning we called Pelosi’s DC office and spoke to Matt who confirmed that the story is, sadly, an “Internet fabrication.” As far as Pelosi is concerned, he added, impeachment is now, has always been and will thus remain “off the table.” Period. End of discussion.
