This is one in a series of Congressional hearings that are preparing for the upcoming UN Climate Change conference that will take place in Bali, Indonesia. (More info: http://unfccc.int/meetings/cop_13/items/4049.php)

The Democrats are taking this very seriously. The Bush Admin is not. These talks are urgent and the treaty that comes out from Bali and evolves over the next two years is of the upmost urgency in dealing with global warming.
