2. On the plus side, Mukasy has ALREADY reopened the warraantless wiretapping investigation...

which was memorably closed down under Gonzales because Justice Dept. officials couldn't get security clearance to look at evidence.

I imagine Bush will treat Mukasy's DoJ the same way he treated Gonzales' in this regard. Of course, in this case, he doesn't have a lifelong friend running things. If he pisses Mukasy off early, investigations from within Bush's DoJ could come early and often.
