and he is talking of the fundamental problems in the banking industry. It is getting ugly. E-Trade and Blackstone seem to be going down.

This is a direct consewquence of Reaganomics. And this is quite ugly

NEW YORK — Shares of e-Trade Financial Corp. recovered modestly Tuesday after a BMO Capital Markets analyst said if things grow much worse, a big bank would be eager to buy the online brokerage.

E-Trade Financial's stock plummeted 59 percent Monday after the company said its $3 billion portfolio of mortgage debt has lost more value than expected.

The stock largely rebounded in Tuesday's session, ending up $1.45, or 40.9 percent, to close at $5.

The housing crises just grinds on, and the stock market remain volatile. Its not looking good in Dollar land.
