Bush considers Pakistan one of our greatest allies in the war on Terrah. Yet Pakistan has sheltered the Taliban and Al Qaeda since they were run out of Afghanistan. Both groups now use the mountainous border regions of Pakistan as their safe haven so they can fight a war of attrition against Afghanistan. The Taliban now controls about half of Afghanistan.

Wasn't it a Pakistani scientist who was selling nukular secrets to the highest bidder? Wouldn't that make him a terrahist?

Now Pakistan has declared martial law, has disolved the Supreme Court and has place the former Prime Minister (who came back to the country by Musharref's invitation) under house arrest. Even Bush screwed up this week and compared Pakistan to Burma.

But guess what?

Bush has given Pakistan more than $11 billion since the Iraq war started.

$11 billion.

Yet he vetoes healthcare for kids.

And we have the largest deficit in American history.

And the dollar is no longer worth a dollar. At least in Canadian terms.

It's amazing.
