Did Libby's defense lawyer find a head of a horse in his bed
and that's why "decided" not to have Cheney?

1. Why would it be necessary?
You know who runs Libby's defense fund, right? The fund that pays for his legal team?

2. Really. We all know Darth is not too keen on swearing to tell the truth
You'd think he intends on lying or something.....

7. Cheney only says what he deeply believes people SHOULD think is true.
I doubt he cares about the difference.

3. I think they planned it this way...
...in order to waste Fitzgerald's time and skew his focus. He spent a lot of time preparing the jury and laying groundwork for the testimony of Libby and Cheney. And then they were yanked. I believe this was smoke and mirrors.

5. Quid pro quo
In exchange for not calling Cheney as a witness Libby gets a pardon.

6. That's a good theory. A simpler explanation is that calling Cheney as corroborating witness is, um,
...."problematic" to say the least.
