Will candidates of the future be squeaky clean?

I mean, the way every little thing is dragged out into the press (like who got a speeding ticket a million years ago, or who smoked pot in college), do you think that will cause people who have squeaky clean records to be the only political candidates? Will people who've never made mistakes and thereby never learned from them be in charge of our government? How "clean" will candidates have to be so that their opponents don't feed on their past mistakes?

their pasts. That seems work and I think future generations will be more tolerant of past
drug use, divorces, etc.

Both Gore and Kerry were pretty squeaky clean, so the Republicans just made stuff up. With Clinton, in 1992, there were many things brought up - and many were real. It was almost easier to prepare to fight back if you knew the issues that could come up.
