11. Wouldn't he? There would be an underlying sense of JOY, pure and
Simple Joy.

I'd feel like I finally got to live in A"miracle" - the America I think a lot of us kids understood to be our birthright.

It reminds me of a story that Desmond Tutu once told about getting on a South African airliner and noticing that the pilot was black.

Initially he was filled with great pride about how things were beginning to change in South Africa. Imagine that! A black man! Flying the jetliner he was taking!

But his sense of pride was soon overtaken by fear and uncertainty.

How could he be sure that this black man was even capable of flying the plane?

It was only then that Tutu realized that even he wasn't immune to the propaganda of the dominant powers. The repeated assertions that blacks in South Africa were somehow unfit for positions of responsibility had even managed to seep in to Tutu's own psyche. But Tutu is a thoughtful man, who was able to see through his fear and uncertainty.

It's the same way with Dennis. He's short. He's naive. He's tilting at windmills. We've been subjected to the media propaganda and corporate spin about him to such an extent that even his ardent supporters have their nagging doubts.

It's time to sweep those doubts aside and face facts: Dennis Kucinich is a quintessential American.

He grew up poor and working class in the Rust Belt and yet still managed to succeed. He is an idealist, a seeker, an intellectual, and an activist, following in the footsteps of so many great Americans who preceded him.

It's time to restore the American Dream.

It won't happen over night, but electing Dennis Kucinich will be a good start.

You BET I'm gonna vote for him. And I'm telling others, too.

(As a side note, most everyone I talk to in the blue collar world has no idea of who Dennis is. Then again, I've come across 2 adults in the business world who have never of "1984". Our work is cut out for us.)

You do know he's done the right thing all along don't you? It was he that drew up hr333 and got some others to cosponsor it quite some time back. He just pushed it in the faces of those that didn't want to bother with it in the house so they couldn't ignore him and us. He's got the guts to not only impeach them, but be in an antiwar protest too and he was in the front of it leading it right past bush's old place in Maine. Do know he does not intend to stop at Cheney. Kicked and Recommended. :bounce: :wow: :applause: :woohoo:  :kick:

53. Of course I have known his great ideology... Its just that he is presented
as the little elf who now sees UFO's... MSM is so afraid of him, and so few know what he does and the courage he possesses.... Like I said, he earned my vote.. whether it pans out for him or not, time can only tell.
