All clear at U.S. Representative Ron Klein's office in Fort Lauderdale. A suspicious envelope had forced a brief evacuation of the building, but authorities say nothing harmful was found.

So before you make the leap that this was part of a gov't conspiracy to intimidate dems from impeaching, you might want to consider that:

It might have been a disgruntled constituent who didn't receive help he/she asked for.

It might have been an anti-semite

It might have been have been some repuke nut.


There are other possibilities beyond a conspiracy to intimidate dems not to impeach, and it looks like there was no biological substance.
Yeah, I know that a lot of folks will insist it couldn't be anything but, and that there really was a biological substance and the conspiracy extends to covering it up, but I just thought I'd point out that that is not the only possible explanation.

Let's not presume anything here --- except what we know --
and the last Anthrax attack was clearly government sponsored against Dems ---

2. I agree. We don't know what happened here, ergo it's

too early to make the leap that this incident is part of a gov't conspiracy. And bushcheney had the Patriot Act in the bag before the anthrax attacks. But Senator Leahy agrees that the anthrax came from a gov't facility and at the very least they know what happened.
