Who's watching the House debate on Iraq?
Is this live? This republick Bob Inglis is just slimy. The one consistent trait in all of the republick speakers is their utter insincerity.

Now Allyson Schwartz is on -

1. I simply can't stand the Repubs who speak.
I turned it off after a while. I am afraid I will become dumber for listening to their drivel.

3. Yep, it's live! I find most of the Pubs un-listenable too, but
I find it really funny that all these House members have to work so late every night. They had a gravy train for 6 years, but NO MORE!

The only time they worked late in the past were times when Hastert & DeLay wanted to pass some underhanded legislation in the wee hours of the Am hoping noone would ever know!

Earn your $$$$$$ AH's!

4. This guy Buyer is going on as if he was a big war hero, but he's just a lawyer
He served in the military as a LAWYER, not a warrior.

6. I have watched on and off for a couple of days.
The Republics make me want to hurl. The Dems generally have vastly better reasoned statements to make. The Pukes only repeat the talking points like zombies, except for when one of their really fine nutcases (like the guy from Virginia - forget his name) got up and said some really, really loony stuff.

7. I watched a bit of it, here and there.

The problem I have with them is, after the first couple of speakers, it all becomes an ancient lovers quarrel, with the some tired points being quarreled over, again and again.

In high school, I was the most prolific debater on the debating team - I always won, so a majority of singles meets were handed to me. I was a member for three years and president for one.

Thus, the first few "debates" I heard politicians do, I was outraged.

THIS was no debate, it was merely a series of stupid speeches; nothing new, nothing creative, just bland lie and misconstruction over and over.

I have one mental rule: If Obey or Waxman-or a very few others-says it, it is absolutely true and factual with no bullshit. So stop the time consuming crap right now and just do whatever this exclusive cadre says-they are always right.

8. Tim Ryan is kicking ass. Republicans have tried to interrupt him a
couple of times and he refuses to yield to them.

They asked for a parliamentary question, the speaker's chair asked if he would yield - He said NO.

We need to get this up on YouTube.

He is nailing their ass.

This president is not Lincoln, he's not Roosevelt. unfortunately, you go to war with the president you have, not the president you wish you had.

11. Ryan - "You go to war with the President you have, not the President you want."
He was reciting a entire list like this -

"We didn't call the other side unpatriotic when they sent our soldiers into battle without the body armour they needed,

We didn't call the other side unpatriotic when they sent our soldiers into war without the uploaded (armored) Humvees they needed,

We did call them incompetent and derelict of their duty of oversight,

But you go to war with the President you have, not the President you want"

Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio)

Republican Steve Buyer (R-Indiana) was who kept trying to interrupt. After Ryan was done he said no one on their side had ever said the other side wasn't patriotic. Yeah, right.
