Are there any skeletons in Hillary's closet that America doesn't know about yet?
And does anyone actually care about Rudy's skeletons?

I would think that after all the investigations that were done on Hillary when Bill was president that every man, woman and child would know everything about her. Yet I can't help but feel that most of America doesn't know what Rudy Giuliani is really like, e.g. his multiple marriages and infidelities, being married to his cousin, fascist behavior while mayor, errors and mishandling of 9/11, etc. I never thought he would make it this far. Okay, I'm going out on a limb here and assuming that the general election will be between Hillary and Rudy (not a safe assumption either). Do you think that many Americans will change their minds about Rudy when (and if) they find out more? Will there be any surprises for mainstream America regarding Hillary?

I realize that many people will vote Republican no matter who the nominee is, just because that's the way they've always voted, or in this case, because of the hatred that Republicans have been instructed to have towards Hillary. I just can't help but feel that people aren't paying attention to what Giuliani is like and what he's done.

people think rudy is a great guy and a great leader because of 9/11. what did he do that any other decent mayor would have done?

he was a US attorney who went after john gotti.

he got rid of the squeegee men.

he cleaned up the city.

but, on the other hand, he created racial tensions. i've heard that he will not negotiate with people he doesn't like and he has a bad temper.

he publicly cheated on his 2nd wife.

i can't see how he is qualified to be president.

that being said, i don't think it will bother republican voters.

2. I would like the 1mm some documents from her last "reign" unlocked
She touts that she is the candidate of experience -- I would like to see what that 'experience' consists of.

6. You'll see them on the same schedule as any other papers. They're not being...
treated any differently than any others.

How this controversy started, I do not know.

15. Presidential papers can be released at ANY time, with the permission
of that president. The old rule was that a president could not prevent the release after 12 years (with the natural exception for classified, national security relevant papers, of course).

By an executive order, * claimed the right to hold any presidential papers - presumably to protect the criminals from the Bush I and Reagan administrations - but that could be challenged by Clinton if he should choose to do so. He has not chosen to do so.

3. After all the Clinton laundry hauled for the public to see in the past, how could there be
anything left?

Now Guiliani?

I think there's tons of stuff. It would be up to the Dem candidate to use it.

Or for groups sympathetic to the Dem candidate to use it.

And are people even really paying all that much attention to anythng?

8. They Won't Find Out
There were plenty of skeletons in Bush**'s closet. Much good they did us.
The Repiglickin media won't report them.

9. With ANY other candidate I'd say "yeah, maybe"
But it's Hillary. We the People diverted seventy million dollars from chasing Osama to chasing the Clintons.

Right now we know everything about Hillary Clinton including the length of the stains on the insides of her panties. If there's a skeleton in her closet we don't know about yet, it's because the meat is still on it.

10. Well said, though the subject line misled me as to what you were
posting about.

I don't think there's much of Senator Clinton's life remotely accessible to journalists and the current public record that isn't unexplored or undocumented. As to Giuliani, you're right on. There's a "curious" lack of appetite on the part of the media to talk much about Giuliani at all, or any other GOP candidates, in any but the most general pablum terms. At least we know these days just what the mechanics are of the media's complicity in the Republican coup of the nation. Cold comfort, but still.

12. Sorry, sometimes my thoughts wander!

I guess my thought was that nobody knows or cares about Giuliani's skeletons. Will they care if they are revealed AND does Hillary need to be worried about anything new coming to light.

13. You've made my thoughts wander about this
And these two could well be the nominees. This deserves reflection.

11. The Repubs will just make things up. Possibly the only Dem with the machine to attack back is HRC.
Do the other Dems even have a "war room" or rapid response team yet? Somehow I think that as things get uglier over the next year, Hillary will prove to be the one whose team can fight back the hardest, because they and she have had the practice.

Gods, I just do not know any longer. My country tis of thee, what a mess thy politics be....

14. IMO, we have given Romney a pass. Remember he was brought in
to bury the dirt of the Olympics in order to save it. He did such a good job they put him in the Gov's seat to bury the dirt on the big dig about a 100BIL worth for some of the biggest contractors in Iraq. Now they'll try and put him in the WH to bury the dirt on Cheney and co.
