...that's the real deal.

I have a theory about how we were softened up for GW Bush (aka "Little Boots", aka Caligula) to become President of the US. I blame it on the movie Forrest Gump. I'm only half kidding. That movie promoted the idea that hey, well, even if a guy's only marginally above the level of moron, he can do anything he sets his mind to in this wonderful country of ours. You just have to have faith and everything will be A-Okay.

That was never a good idea -- certainly not where Presidentin' is concerned. But then along comes GWB, and he turns out to be Forrest Gump's evil twin, and the whole thing just turns to shit and then some.

And it is hard not to notice how Gump-like GWB looks in this photo, as he does in many others. Unfortunately he's not only dumb, he's also an evil fuck. Dangerous combination, as we have seen in so many ways over the last several years.

Oh and one more thing. Actually he's not as dumb as he lets on, he's just entitled and doesn't have to make much effort, so he doesn't. And he has a mean streak a mile wide and 2 miles deep. He's smart enough to have enabled the greatest looting of the treasure since this country was founded. And don't think for one minute he didn't know what he was doing on that score. Just look at that crew: they know.
