How can people still vote for the repukes?
Now that the Republicans have destroyed the middle class, shredded the Constitution, spit on the rule of law, looted the treasury and pretty much ruined the American dollar, how can people still vote for them.

1. because they've been told that it's simply not true
the media (FOX mainly) tells them that the economy is strong, that Bush has protected us all, and that anyone who disagrees (the majority of America at this point) is a traitor or worse. Seriously.

I wish I were joking, but I know a small handful of Kool Aid drinkers personally, and they still believe that everything is going well and that the "liebral" media just makes everything sound negative to bash Bush.

What I can't really understand is the massive disconnect from reality.

2. At this point . . .
I'm thinking mental disease or defect. When I find out I'm dealing with a Republican online, I type slower because I know they don't read very fast. I don't deal with Republicans in real life.

3. Because too many people out there
will believe whatever they're told. The repukes will say/do anything to get elected/re-elected, as opposed to researching that candidates past (distant and recent).

I still haven't decided which Democratic candidate will get my vote in the primary, but I am saying this for sure: whoever gets my vote has a track record that is admirable, and closely matches to what I feel.

4. Denial can be a powerful drug. In many cases, life-long
Repubs cannot conceive of voting for anybody but fellow ultra right wing zealots. There are about 30% of the American public who still thinks Bush has been a great success and done nothing wrong.

5. Stupidity.
Stupidity.

Sitting on their fat asses at home watching Jerry Springer.

Greed.

"I got mine, so fuck you".

There's two ways.

I'm sure there are others.

7. We said it was just these Bushies
so they don't know it's Republican ideology that's wrong.
