5. "control" is arguable. They don't have a veto-proof majority.

In fact, in the Senate the Democrats just barely have a majority.

The Democrats have moved a lot of good bills forward but been voted down by Republicans. We need more Democrats. We need to get the stone-agers out of Congress.

A good point --- but how is that to be achieved?

Here in Minnesota, the paid FReepers have already started their slime campaign against Dems by posting on web forums nonsense such as ,

''watch as your taxes increase under Dems''

''drug use will skyrocket''

'' more illegal immigrants will enter our borders''

''higher crime rates thanks to Democrats''

More of this will appear on web forums and call in radio shows while Democrats sit back in fear and allow the Pukes to frame the issues as they did in 2004. Or, will Democrats finally learn to stand up and fight against these slimey lies??

Will Dems point out the many instances of Republican flip-flopping?

Or point out how drug use, crime rates, and illegal immigration increase under Republican rule? The dollar continues to fall in value and will ultimately be worthless if this continues. Yet, the Democrats sit by and say nothing about it. How much longer will this stupidity persist???

Passivity has not garnered the White House or Congressional control for the Dems. Will they ever learn to fight for political success or hope it will fall on their laps.

As always, victory is a matter of choice. Hopefully, some day Democrats will learn that truth.
