What first came to mind, though, is that they don't need to. He's a walking disaster, imo. If he gets the nomination, other groups besides our nom will be able to open fire with his history. It could be a bloodbath without our nom saying a word.

give credence to any of the msm polls on either party, but in particular I can't see the rebidly rw neocon rethug party of recent years voting for a cros-dresser, and I can't imagine any sane person voting for someone who just happened to be there on 9/11. Course, I never would have seen der bushler "winning" two elections either, so what do I know?

I agree with you about his chances if he gets the nom for the same reasons you detailed. I just watched the Josh Marshall video that's up in the Video Forum right now. Rudy exaggerates his history way too much - that makes it so easy to take him down. And given how disgusted people are with his Party, I say he's toast.
