2. WTF is going on with this vote?

At the moment, the votes against tabling are higher than those FOR it -- the result of vote changes by Rethugs. Why in hell would the Pukes and quisling Dems back away from their quick victory?

Somewhere deep within me I get the feeling that the Democrats are being played for fools again.

But then that's a feeling that I've been feeling for a long, long time.

3. Nevermind -- I just figured it out.

And, yes, the Pukes are outsmarting us again -- or THINK they are.

The Pugs are so convinced that discussing impeachment will hurt Dems that they have decided to let Kuchinich have what he wants in the expectation that it wil be DEMs who will have to withdraw the motion.

They figure that if only Republicans want impeachment off the table, it looks like politics. But when it is the Dems who cancel ongoing impeachment machinations, it will not only kill any impeachment talk (from now on) but it will soe dissention and discontent among Dem pliticians and supporters.

It's cynical and sneaky so it HAS to be their plan.
