Maxine Waters (D-CA), Lynn Woolsey (D-CA), Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Carolyn Kilpatrick (D-MI)....
.... Robert Brady (D-PA), Yvette Clarke (D-NY), Rep. William Lacy Clay (D-MO), Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN), Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), Rep. Sam Farr (D-CA), Rep. Bob Filner (D-CA), Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX), Rep. Henry Johnson (D-GA), Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA), Rep. Jim McDermott (D-WA), Rep. James Moran (D-VA), Rep. Donald Payne (D-NJ), Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), Rep. Edolphus Towns (D-NY), Rep. Diane Watson (D-CA), and Rep. Albert Wynn (D-MD).

These are reps who didn't run to their desks and hide when Dennis Kucinich brought around his impeachment resolution. They signed on to it. :patriot: If one of them is your rep, or even if they're not, a "thank you" email is in order.

12. Just called Barrow's office
His aide says he's "considering" it. I made sure to note that Johnson is in support. I'm not holding my breath on Barrow, but it's worth a try.

19. Am I the only one who is impressed with Hank Johnson?
I remember when some wide-eyed foamy-mouthed DUers were screaming that he was Bush's boy during the 2006 election. His legislative record shows he is voting with the good guys.

Good for her!! It's a start!

When we arrived at the location for the filming, Rep. Maxine Waters was coming out of the room and Mr. Conyers stopped her and introduced me to her saying "This is Jennifer and she's here to lobby me on impeachment." To which Rep. Waters instantly replied, "it's never going to happen." She then said, "I wish I could tell you something that would give you some hope, but I can't." I said to her, "Then maybe I can say something that will give you some hope," and launched into a quick lobbying effort. I asked Rep. Waters if I could walk with her to her office, and we subsequently spent the next 5 minutes debating the "practicalities" of impeachment. (How impractical to defend the Constitution!) She seemed most moved by the argument that the Democrats are in danger of blowing the 2008 elections if decisive actions aren't taken to show the electorate that the Democratic party is interested in change.

5. Yay Keith!
And yay Tammy Baldwin! One from my hometown, one from my college town. Good times.

As for the rest of those who ran and hid - shame, shame on you. Including THREE other dem reps from MN. Jerks.

6. Thanks
My Rep from a very blue district is not on that list. I will take the time to thank each of the above for their defense of the Constitution & this nation.

8. Sam Farr is my rep., and in addition, said he would vote YES to impeach
I recieved an email recently, an automatic response to a MoveOn or DFA or somesuch web generated email, that said, although he fears there isn't enough time for impeachment, he has co-sponsored H. Res. 333, AND would vote for impeachment should it come to a floor vote- this email was sent after Kucinich announced he would force a floor vote.

Sam is the man!

13. Only 23 House members who place the Constitution above establishment politics.
Only 23 out of 435 ... and that's a measure of how little our elected representatives actually subscribe to their oath of office.

14. I just e-mailed Tammy to thank her, but was
surprised to find you had to both give the full 9-digit zip code along with filling in the blanks with a disguised code to prevent spamming. They are really tightening up on the e-mail option.

LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE THEY DO.

THEY ARE THE ENEMY WITHIN.

THERE, I SAID IT.

If Conyers can begin impeachment proceedings against Nixon for Watergate, surely he can launch them for war crimes!

Nothing happens without support. Sigh!
