Poll question: Do you usually click the links that people provide, or do you reply based on the clips they post?

So for example, when someone posts clips of a news article and then gives you the full link, do you usually click the link and read the full article before replying? Just curious.

1. Have to read the whole thing.
Quite often, there are important details, hidden deeper
in a story, that paint a very different picture than the
first four paragraphs do.

3. I usually look at the article before replying
But if someone just posts a link and nothing else I usually don't do either.
I think that if something is important or interesting enough to post the link, you should at least give me a description of what I'm getting myself into.

5. Depends on the source...
No way I'm clicking on NewsMax, etc. I'd have to clean my hard drive with bleach to get the filth off! :scared:

7. If there's only a link
and no snip of a paragraph or two so I can have some idea about the topic, I don't bother clicking through at all. Too often I've taken the time to click through, and it isn't worth a hill of beans. No more.
