"There's Al Qaeda over there, every one of them"

Every day I get off of the Staten Island Ferry on my way home, take the elevator up to the Cab area and walk home past all the cab drivers.

Several times now I've shared an elevator with a crazy guy who insists on repeatedly announcing that the cab drivers are all Al Qaeda. They're all terrorists. The police should round them up. They're all right over there out in the open.

This racist nutcase apparently thinks that all middle eastern men are muslim, and all muslims are terrorists. The cabbies, fyi, are mostly Lebanese Christians.

I've held my tongue because I doubt that I'll do any good by telling him off. "If you argue with a fool people won't be able to tell you apart." But I have to say, I hate having to share air with someone like that. x(
