I live in Iowa, where Presidential candidates regularly stop, at least near caucus time, and we also have a municipal election tomorrow and my friggin' phone has been ringing constantly mostly with robo calls. And yesterday I actually called one presidential candidate's hq and asked them to stop. And yet, I got another one from his campaign a short time ago. So I called the office back and told them in no uncertain terms that if I got so much as one more, I would no longer consider this particular candidate. And I'm serious about this. At least the local candidates' robo crap stops after tonight. I understand that any candidate who is trying to reach a large amount of people has to do something, but since we are bombarded with emails and snail mails from campaigns all the time, one would think robo calling may be unnecessary. A lot of people are turned off by it and either refuse to vote or change candidates because of the practice. So, if any candidates out there should happen to be reading this, STOP IT! All you are doing is irritating people.
