Mr Bush -
I know they did not ask you to engage anything. They asked you to give some credible support to a treaty that was, I think, negotiated before you were even born.

I am SO against this war - and it doesn't matter here - They will send something between 12 and 20 divisions south to protect their people - or at this point just pacify the demands of their people. Either way - they will react as we would - why did you let this get to this point???

They want you to send - what 3 or 6 brigades up north - to what - show you give a shit about them. They will want us to send something between 3000 and 20000 guys north - with no promise of engaging anything, to stop them from having to send something between 120000 and 200000 soldiers south - like that should even be a question??

The PKK are their AL Queda - are they NATO or not??

End of the day - abandon Iraq and honor NATO - that is your job!!!

Baghdad was never that important to our interests as the United States. Calming the NATO alliance is. You better get this right Mr President - cause if you screw this one up - we all pay dearly.

Joe
