I wish I could be as happy and go lucky as you are.

By the way... in case you have not noticed, I am not asking you to follow me, but to pay attention and realize where we are as a nation. And it is NOT a happy place... and all of this is PREDICTIVE

I am not leading the tea party.

I have done things though that put me in line for disappearance once they implement all the tools of the police state that they have put in place. I know that. I don't expect to make it to the other side. Yet I keep telling you... the happy go lucky crowds pay attention, you are quickly running out of time to stand up. And WE, yes WE need to take action sooner rather than later... but I don't expect it... the population has been properly cowed through predictive actions by the state.

Is that clear enough for you?

But unlike the happy go lucky try to sell me something and don't depress me crowd that asks for action... I already have acted and taken risks and you may even say paid some of the price... and I continue to act every day.

I'm not demanding you to follow... I'm NOT your leader...

I am warning you of what is coming, and it is UP TO YOU TO ACT

If you want a leader... you will have to look inside of you and start with the simplest of actions... talking to your neighbors and breaking the silence.. which is one of the tools of the police state... and yes I have also posted threads detailing things YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW... and yes talking to your neighbors after you realize where exactly we are is one of the most critical steps, creating UNITY and COMMON PURPOSE

But if you are expecting a leader on an internet board.. you are looking in the wrong place.

On the other hand, my role in this in some ways is not unlike that of the people who wrote panphlets that helped to wake up a generation some 280 years ago. They also did not bring cheerful messages, especially when talking of King George and his minions... and the people who read those documents found it in themselves to take the actions they felt they needed to take.

So what are YOU willing to do? And waiting for 2009 may very well be too late.

It is not only me who says that

But John Dean, Naomi Wolf, Joe Connason... other Cassandras I guess, who have been drawing from the same historical record I have and reached the same damn conclusions.

When the night finally comes I hope to share some time with them... and not the Pollyanas it could not happen here crowd.

I bought it a while back and was wondering if anyone else was buying. Tell as many people you can to pick up a copy and also Naomi Klein's "The Shock Doctrine" as well. Throw in Antonia Juhasz'z book, "The Bush Agenda, Invading the World One Economy at a Time" and the reader is set in understanding the picture of what's going on and where we are.

to health and vigor. Hell, at this point I'll take healing up from the beating it's taken really for 30 or 40 years, but more obviously so for 25 for sure.

In any case what has become clear is that we need small d and large D Democratic Leadership that is committed to these things.

Not to mention fixing voting, restoring trust and inpsection.

And many other things too numerous to list. Even stuff like the badly needed S-CHIP pales in comparison

Otherwise, even IF Clinton or Obama get in, with increased Democratic majorities, they can address all the bread and butter economic issues they want but if they do not restore the Constitution and Rule of Law by reverse what Bushler has done, and disavow the idea of the Unitary Executive (Fuhrerprinzip), again etc. etc. ETC. the damage is so extensive and multi-fronted...the hour grows late.

I recall when watching F-911 Moores film bush made reference to how easy a dictatorship would be as long as he was the dictator and he said something similar again just a week ago . Also a whitehouse reporter implied this saying if you leave . So it's not a stretch to say he has thought about it or is already planning on it .

I have had the idea for some time that there are larger forces behind this than bush or cheney or rummy and all others .

We have to ask whow is really in the power seat here , behind the scenes .

In the 60's a presidnet making comments such as this would have been questioned . The white house press are useless and weak , they hold onto their positions just like any media freak by doing nothing in fear of losing their jobs either that or they just could care less , who can say , all I can say is it's not what we need .

about how some democrats and repuglicans (yes, I do think there are some decent repuglicans but I can't name any right now) appear to be either blackmailed or bribed into going along with so much of Bush's wrongdoing. The list is far too long to toss it to just making misjudgements - there is obviously something else in the works here.

In past fascist regimes - is this also how the politicians and other leaders carried on? What was their reason, excuse. Were they really bamboozled, threatened, or just plain ignorant of what was happening before their very eyes? Or were the ones who did contest get the pink slip and disappeared in one way or another and only the willing traitors held the power?
