Cheerleading Coach Fired After Topless Pictures Found

GOSHEN, Ohio -- Clermont County school officials say a cheerleading coach and a football coach were fired after the cheerleading coach and a cheerleader were allegedly photographed together topless at the football coach's house.

School officials say the photos of the 19-year-old coach and the 15-year-old cheerleader -- both females -- were posted online.

School superintendent Charlene Thomas says 19-year-old assistant football coach Andrew Emerson held a party at his house last weekend and the cheerleading coach and student posed for photographs.

Officals say neither coach taught in the Goshen school district, and declined to say where they coached.

10. I learned how much times have changed when my nieces went to high school.

Waaaaay back in my day, all of the coaches were full-time staff of the school who had teaching degrees and had to round out their day by teaching a couple academic classes in addition to their coaching duties. My nieces graduated a couple years ago and their school was set up so that a lot of the hands on coaching was done by part-time employees, many who were recent graduates of that same high school. They had to report to full-time faculty members, but not all of them were supervised as closely as they should have been. They had some trouble with a young man who was a volleyball coach having girls from the team at his apartment.
