Down here in my neck of the woods, I have to deal with what I call "values voters." They're the ones who attend the mega churches and think the Boy King is a man of God. Needless to say, their definition of morals is totally the opposite of mine. But nevertheless, I can hear them next November. "I vote Republican, because they are the party that stands behind traditional values."
"But," I state, "your candidate has been an adultery and been married more than once. Even his kids don't like him. And he's been pro choice, and has in the past supported the GLBT community."
"Um, well, ummm. I don't know," comes their brilliant reply.
I don't care who we run. This will be a dilemma to these values voters, and either they'll hold their nose and vote for Mr. 9/11, or better yet stay home or vote for a third party, fundy candidate. Next November is shaping up to be a lot of fun (at least for me, anyway. LOL).
