Best reason to go to Swarthmore College--the Friday night shuttle to the liquor store
Edited on Fri Nov-02-07 10:42 PM by Lobster Martini
(LM: It is pretty hard to not notice that the van parked next to your car at the liquor store on Friday night is the van from Swarthmore College. Holy drunken cow, what kind of besotted idiot are you when you drive the college van to the liquor store on Friday night?)

From the Swarthmore College Web Site:

"It's understandable - you don't want to walk home after a long day of class, not to mention after working in McCabe Library or the Parrish Parlors until two in the morning! That's why the Evening Shuttle is there, and why students find it so convenient. The Evening Shuttle is operated by the Department of Public Safety and is run by hired drivers, some of whom get to know the students pretty well."

(LM: Emphasis is mine. As for the sentence about the drivers getting to know the students pretty well, I refuse to add a gratuitous "if you know what I mean..." That would be unfair and unkind, in this context.)
